fema

Step 1: Ebola comes to America

Step 2: The virus spreads

Step 3: The government decides to quarantine the general public for their safety

Step 4: Cities go under marshal law

Step 5: People are forced out their homes and into FEMA camps

Step 6: Once inside the FEMA camps, everyone will die

It’s literally that fucking simple but nobody pays any attention, you’re too involved with your stupid t.v shows and the latest phone to realise what’s really at stake here.

How FEMA is Threatening Climate Change Deniers

Governors skeptical of man-made climate change are in for a rude awakening. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is going to start denying disaster-preparedness funds to governors who don’t have plans in place for climate change, according to Inside Climate News. The limitations don’t extend to disaster relief, but they do apply to funds that help states with projects aimed to mitigate future disasters.

“If a state has a climate denier governor that doesn’t want to accept a plan, that would risk mitigation work not getting done because of politics,” Becky Hammer, a lawyer with the Natural Resources Defense Council’s water program, told Inside Climate News. “The governor would be increasing the risk to citizens in that state [thanks to his views].”

What the media is not talking about in this week’s news:

The lead writer of a contraversial movie being developed known as Gray State, along with his wife and daughter were found dead of an apparent “murder-suicide”. Although there are some local authorities who have commented on the “suspicious” nature of these events. I have followed the progress of this movie for quite some time now. I am Marine veteran myself, and support all artistic projects among the veteran community and I am fierce supporter of free-speech and expression of all, even from those I despise. The only thing further commentary I will submit to you is that this story is getting no attention from major media outlets. If you don’t know much about Gray State, or what happened to its lead writer - please take the time to see how fucked up this is right now.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is making it tougher for governors to deny man-made climate change. Starting next year, the agency will approve disaster preparedness funds only for states whose governors approve hazard mitigation plans that address climate change.

This may put several Republican governors who maintain the earth isn’t warming due to human activities, or prefer to do nothing about it, into a political bind. Their position may block their states’ access to hundreds of millions of dollars in FEMA funds. Over the past five years, the agency has awarded an average $1 billion a year in grants to states and territories for taking steps to mitigate the effects of disasters.

“If a state has a climate denier governor that doesn’t want to accept a plan, that would risk mitigation work not getting done because of politics,” said Becky Hammer, an attorney with the Natural Resources Defense Council’s water program. “The governor would be increasing the risk to citizens in that state” because of his climate beliefs.

Good move by FEMA. Risk need to be managed despite a politician’s beliefs/denialism.

As the rain and wind swirled outside the window during Superstorm Sandy more than two years ago, Liz Treston’s family helped her into bed.

Treston, 54, was disabled in a diving accident when she was in her twenties. She uses a wheelchair to get around her Long Island, N.Y., home and an electronic lift machine to get into her bed. The night the storm hit, she wanted to be ready for sleep in case the power went out.

Her basement was ruined. There was the fridge, a washer and dryer, five bikes, her family’s winter clothes, a bedroom set and other kitchen appliances.

She received a $7,000 dollar grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to pay for the hotel she and her family stayed in while the house was repaired. She got another $4,500 grant to help cover things in the basement that were destroyed.

She says she spent the money soon after and that she was grateful for all the help. So this past October, when she received an envelope with FEMA letterhead in the mail, Treston wasn’t sure what to think.

For Some Superstorm Sandy Victims, The Government Wants Its Money Back

Rick Scott may have found a way of making climate denial state policy, but the Florida governor is going to have a hard time ignoring this. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) just updated its guidelines for state disaster preparedness plans, and under the new policy, plans will only be approved — and federal funds appropriated —  if they address the threats of climate change.

Climate deniers like Rick Scott just may be forced to reconsider their anti-science opinions

I may have gone over board... But I'm tired of ignorance.
  • Random girl comments on my status:So, you're one of those who cares that the Government looks at all of our emails and Twitter Accounts?
  • My response:I mean that is troubling but more so I care that the Government and Monsanto poison our food with GMO crops that have been proven to cause cancer. I also care that the AMA suppresses cures to cancer such as Cannabis oil, rife beam ray, soursop fruit, etc. I also care that the government poisons out water with sodium hexafluoride. I care that secret societies are at the core for most of politics and presidents such as skull and bones, the trilateral commission, council on foreign relations, etc. I care that the government is obviously preparing for martial law with FEMA Camp, the bill FM 3-39.40, goarmy.com running adds for Jobs in these camps since 2009, DHS buying 2billion rounds of hollow point ammo, DHS buying military grade drones, DHS buying 7000+ Assault rifles, DHS buying 2700 MRAP armored military vehicles all for domestic use. I care that the pentagon is in the process of giving away 13,000 MRAP vehicles to police stations all over the US. I care that Obama promised things in his presidential campaign and then got into office and didn't follow through but instead signed the NDAA which allows the US to hold any American indefinitely without reason. I care because the TPP will probably be passed which will allow corporations to sue countries for billions if they don't use GMOs, among many other very bad things. I care because our rights as HUMAN BEINGS are being stripped from every good man and woman in America. I care because we are repeating history and no one seems to have the hindsight to realize we are repeating what nazi Germany did, what Stalins Russia did, what Mussolini's Italy did, etc. I care because at the core of these secret societies in every case, I have found Lucifarian Doctrine (don't get that confused with satanism). I care because no one else seems to care. I care because some people are to blind to think for themselves and realize that there is a rabbit hole much much deeper then just a government scandal here or a conspiracy there. There is a interconnectivity with it all. But most of all I care because when I was younger I asked God to show me truth, give me wisdom, and help me see. I believe he's doing just that and I simply want others to be able to connect the dots and realize they are persisting in their own ignorance only to their own detriment.

In just a three week period earlier this year, three oil trains careened off the tracks and burst into flames, burning for days in West Virginia, rural Illinois and Ontario. They caused no deaths and few injuries, but the West Virginia explosion occurred near enough to a town that one home was destroyed and hundreds were forced to evacuate; they were best characterized, perhaps, as disruptions. The same situation in Jersey City, federal officials say, could be an unprecedented disaster.

A hypothetical derailment in Jersey City could kill 87 people instantly and injure 500 others

The Waffle House Index is an informal Performance indicator used by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to determine the impact of a storm and the likely scale of assistance required for disaster recovery. The measure is based on the reputation of the Waffle House restaurant chain for staying open during extreme weather and for reopening quickly, albeit sometimes with a limited menu, after very severe weather events such as tornados or hurricanes. The term was coined by FEMA Administrator Craig Fugate in May 2011, following the 2011 Joplin tornado the two Waffle House restaurants in Joplin remained open after the EF5 multiple-vortex tornado struck the city on May 22. According to Fugate, “If you get there and the Waffle House is closed? That’s really bad. That’s where you go to work.”

The Index has three levels, based on the extent of operations and service at the restaurant following a storm:

  • Green: the restaurant is serving a full menu, indicating the restaurant has power and damage is limited.
  • Yellow: the restaurant is serving a limited menu, indicating there may be no power or only power from a generator or food supplies may be low.
  • Red: the restaurant is closed, indicating severe damage.
