Governors skeptical of man-made climate change are in
for a rude awakening. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is
going to start denying disaster-preparedness funds to governors who
don’t have plans in place for climate change, accordingto Inside Climate News. The limitations don’t extend to disaster
relief, but they do apply to funds that help states with projects aimed
to mitigate future disasters.
"If a state has a climate denier governor that doesn’t want to accept
a plan, that would risk mitigation work not getting done because of
politics," Becky Hammer, a lawyer with the Natural Resources Defense
Council’s water program, told Inside Climate News. "The governor would
be increasing the risk to citizens in that state [thanks to his views]."
UNREAL: FEMA to deny aid to states whose governors don’t accept global warming narrative
Still think global warming alarmism isn’t political? According to a new report, FEMA plans to stop giving Federal preparedness aid to states who have governors who don’t completely buy into the administration’s global warming narrative. In other words, they are bribing states with taxpayer money to agree with them.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency is making it tougher for governors to deny man-made climate change. Starting next year, the agency will approve disaster-preparedness funds only for states whose governors approve hazard-mitigation plans that address climate change.
This may put several Republican governors who maintain that the Earth isn’t warming due to human activities, or prefer to take no action, in a political bind. Their position may block their states’ access to hundreds of millions of dollars in FEMA funds. In the last five years, the agency has awarded an average $1 billion a year in grants to states and territories for taking steps to mitigate the effects of disasters.
"If a state has a climate denier governor that doesn’t want to accept a plan, that would risk mitigation work not getting done because of politics," said Becky Hammer, an attorney with the Natural Resources Defense Council’s water program. "The governor would be increasing the risk to citizens in that state" because of his climate beliefs.
The policy doesn’t affect federal money for relief after a hurricane, flood, or other disaster. Specifically, beginning in March 2016, states seeking preparedness money will have to assess how climate change threatens their communities. Governors will have to sign off on hazard-mitigation plans. While some states, including New York, have already started incorporating climate risks in their plans, most haven’t because FEMA’s 2008 guidelines didn’t require it.
If this doesn’t outrage you — even if you are a sold-out believer in all things climate change — ask yourself why. The Federal government is holding states hostage because of politics.
This is not only unconscionable, it’s unconstitutional. Look, FEMA shouldn’t exist in the first place. But they do. And they take money (via the IRS) from citizens in every state. The fact that this money should then be reallocated fairly, and not based on the politics of the current regime administration, is axiomatic. To do otherwise is a form of authoritarianism. “Agree with us and we’ll pay you. If you don’t we won’t.” Is this America? This is the epitome of corruption, people!
If this doesn’t make it clear that AGW is nothing a political game with these people, I don’t know what does. This isn’t about keeping people safe. This is about trying to elect Democrat governors by bribing states with taxpayer money (it was one of the purposes of Obamacare). So-called “Climate Change” is not about the environment. It’s about politics, plain and simple.
I encourage you not to be silent about this. Below are few ways you might want to contact FEMA. If need be, feel free to reference any source found in the article above. And remember, be respectful!
What the media is not talking about in this week’s news:
The lead writer of a contraversial movie being developed known as Gray State, along with his wife and daughter were found dead of an apparent “murder-suicide”. Although there are some local authorities who have commented on the “suspicious” nature of these events. I have followed the progress of this movie for quite some time now. I am Marine veteran myself, and support all artistic projects among the veteran community and I am fierce supporter of free-speech and expression of all, even from those I despise. The only thing further commentary I will submit to you is that this story is getting no attention from major media outlets. If you don’t know much about Gray State, or what happened to its lead writer - please take the time to see how fucked up this is right now.
Rick Scott may have found a way of making climate denial state policy, but the Florida governor is going to have a hard time ignoring this. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) just updated its guidelines for state disaster preparedness plans, and under the new policy, plans will only be approved — and federal funds appropriated — if they address the threats of climate change.
I may have gone over board... But I'm tired of ignorance.
Random girl comments on my status:So, you're one of those who cares that the Government looks at all of our emails and Twitter Accounts?
My response:I mean that is troubling but more so I care that the Government and Monsanto poison our food with GMO crops that have been proven to cause cancer. I also care that the AMA suppresses cures to cancer such as Cannabis oil, rife beam ray, soursop fruit, etc. I also care that the government poisons out water with sodium hexafluoride. I care that secret societies are at the core for most of politics and presidents such as skull and bones, the trilateral commission, council on foreign relations, etc. I care that the government is obviously preparing for martial law with FEMA Camp, the bill FM 3-39.40, goarmy.com running adds for Jobs in these camps since 2009, DHS buying 2billion rounds of hollow point ammo, DHS buying military grade drones, DHS buying 7000+ Assault rifles, DHS buying 2700 MRAP armored military vehicles all for domestic use. I care that the pentagon is in the process of giving away 13,000 MRAP vehicles to police stations all over the US. I care that Obama promised things in his presidential campaign and then got into office and didn't follow through but instead signed the NDAA which allows the US to hold any American indefinitely without reason. I care because the TPP will probably be passed which will allow corporations to sue countries for billions if they don't use GMOs, among many other very bad things. I care because our rights as HUMAN BEINGS are being stripped from every good man and woman in America. I care because we are repeating history and no one seems to have the hindsight to realize we are repeating what nazi Germany did, what Stalins Russia did, what Mussolini's Italy did, etc. I care because at the core of these secret societies in every case, I have found Lucifarian Doctrine (don't get that confused with satanism). I care because no one else seems to care. I care because some people are to blind to think for themselves and realize that there is a rabbit hole much much deeper then just a government scandal here or a conspiracy there. There is a interconnectivity with it all. But most of all I care because when I was younger I asked God to show me truth, give me wisdom, and help me see. I believe he's doing just that and I simply want others to be able to connect the dots and realize they are persisting in their own ignorance only to their own detriment.

The Waffle House Index is an informal Performance indicator used by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to determine the impact of a storm and the likely scale of assistance required for disaster recovery. The measure is based on the reputation of the Waffle House restaurant chain for staying open during extreme weather and for reopening quickly, albeit sometimes with a limited menu, after very severe weather events such as tornados or hurricanes. The term was coined by FEMA Administrator Craig Fugate in May 2011, following the 2011 Joplin tornado the two Waffle House restaurants in Joplin remained open after the EF5 multiple-vortex tornado struck the city on May 22. According to Fugate, “If you get there and the Waffle House is closed? That’s really bad. That’s where you go to work.”
The Index has three levels, based on the extent of operations and service at the restaurant following a storm:
Green: the restaurant is serving a full menu, indicating the restaurant has power and damage is limited.
Yellow: the restaurant is serving a limited menu, indicating there may be no power or only power from a generator or food supplies may be low.
Red: the restaurant is closed, indicating severe damage.
This video briefly outlines the modern policy regarding internment camps within the United States, run by the Federal government through FEMA and the Military. The U.S. Military assents to the existence of such camps on the goarmy website, advertising for the position of an “INTERNMENT/RESETTLEMENT SPECIALIST (31E)”
Internment/resettlement specialists are primarily responsible for day-to-day operations in a military confinement/correctional facility or detention/internment facility.
Supervision of confinement and detention operations
External security to facilities
Counseling/guidance to individual prisoners within a rehabilitative program
Records of prisoners/internees and their programs
Those who want to serve must first take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, a series of tests that helps you better understand your strengths and identify which Army jobs are best for you.
Job training for an internment/resettlement specialist requires 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and eight weeks of Advanced Individual Training with on-the-job instruction. Part of this time is spent in the classroom and in the field.
FEMA has grounded private drones attempting to assist in mapping out the damage dealt by the flooding in Colorado.
A local company, Falcon UAV, specializes in creating drones which use GPS and cameras to generate highly accurate maps. The drones are built for the government and are approved by the FAA.
The company attempted to assist in assessing the damage caused by the flooding in Colorado by providing accurate, near-real time maps showing flooded areas. For some reason FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency in charge of helping to coordinate the response to the floods, ordered the drones to be grounded or those at Falcon UAV would be arrested.
The company released this statement in response:
Early Saturday morning Falcon UAV was heading up to Lyons to complete a damage assessment mapping flight when we received a call from our Boulder EOC point of contact who notified us that FEMA had taken over operations and our request to fly drones was not only denied but more specifically we were told by FEMA that anyone flying drones would be arrested. Not being one to bow to federal bureaucrats we still went up to Lyons to do a site survey for how we can conduct a mission in the near future to provide an adequate damage assessment to this storm ravaged community.
While we were up there we noticed that Civil Air Patrol and private aircraft were authorized to fly over the small town tucked into the base of Rockies. Unfortunately due to the high terrain around Lyons and large turn radius of manned aircraft they were flying well out of a useful visual range and didn’t employ cameras or live video feed to support the recovery effort. Meanwhile we were grounded on the Lyons high school football field with two Falcons that could have mapped the entire town in less than 30 minutes with another few hours to process the data providing a near real time map of the entire town.
[…] We are very disappointed in FEMAs response to actively prevent the use of UAVs and drone technology when these services were offered for free and at a time when manned helicopters could be used for more critical missions such as evacuations and high mountain search and rescues in inaccessible communities.
The reasons remain unknown as to why FEMA is threatening a well established company that already has a good track record with the government. Hopefully they’ll allow them back on the team to help expedite the rescue effort.
Why do you think FEMA grounded the drones? Let us know your thoughts in the comments down below!
FBI agents are interviewing employees at FEMA in an investigation of unusual changes in federal flood insurance maps that benefited oceanfront condo buildings with a history of flooding, according to sources familiar with the investigation.
Fact# 7202: In mid-2001, FEMA declared the three likeliest, most catastrophic disasters facing the U.S. to be a hurricane in New Orleans, a massive earthquake in San Francisco, and a terrorist attack in New York City.
