Imam Muslim reported that prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) said,
“Whoever among of you sees a munkar (evil action), let him change it with his hand; and if he is unable to do so, then let him change it by his tongue, and if he is unable to do so, let him change it with his heart, and that is the weakest faith.”

“If someone corrects you, and you feel offended, then YOU have an EGO problem” - Nouman Ali Khan

“But, this dark place is not the end. Remember that the darkness of night precedes the dawn. And as long as your heart still beats, this is not the death of it. You don’t have to die here. Sometimes, the ocean floor is only a stop on the journey. And it is when you are at this lowest point, that you are faced with a choice. You can stay there at the bottom, until you drown. Or you can gather pearls and rise back up—stronger from the swim, and richer from the jewels.”- Yasmin Mogahed

Greet both those you know and those you do not know [by saying ‘As-Salaamu ‘alaykum] for love and friendship would result from this.

The Prophet (PBUH) said: “You will never enter Jannah until you believe, and you will never believe fully until you love each other. Shall I not inform you of something that if you do it, you will love each other? Greet one another with ‘Salaam’.” ( Hadeeth Sahih Muslim #54)

If someone greets you with Salaam, return him the same greeting or one that is better.

Allah says: “When you are greeted with a greeting, greet in return with what is better than it or (at least) return it equally. Certainly, Allah is Ever a Careful Account Taker of all things.” (4:86)

Asiya (ra) was the wife of Pharaoh and she is a real life example for the believers of today on how we should deal with the bush and blair of our times. Allah (swt) made her an example and symbol of the deen for the women.

For anyone wanting to seek guidance and follow the Sunnah this is an excellent example. She had maturity and understanding in the deen desiring only the akhirah. She said I do not want anything in the dunya I want to be near to you Oh my Lord by having a house in Jannah.

Whenever we look for house in the dunya we check the neighbours to see if they are good in order to make our decision on taking the house, yet Asiya (ra) said to Allah (swt) that I want your neighbourhood in jannah.

Allah says in Sura al-Ahzab:

O wives of the Prophet! You are not like other women, if you are God - fearing. So do not be soft in speech. Lest in whose heart is disease should be moved with desire (V:32).

This verse indicates that men and women should not talk unnecessarily and when they do so, both the content and manner of conversation must be appropriate, and free of anything inciting.

Combining fasting with feeding the poor is one of the means of reaching Paradise, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“In Paradise there are rooms whose outside can be seen from the inside and the inside can be seen from the outside. Allaah has prepared them for those who feed the poor, who are gentle in speech, who fast regularly and who pray at night when people are asleep.”
[Reported by Ahmad 5/343; Ibn Khuzaymah, no. 2137.]

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“Whoever gives food to a fasting person with which to break his fast, will have a reward equal to his, without it detracting in the slightest from the reward of the fasting person.”
[Reported by al-Tirmidhi, 3/171; Saheeh al-Targheeb, 1/451).]

“Yes, we are the daughters, sisters and mothers of this Ummah, we are the flowers from which come forth wondrous petals, and we are the sprouting trees that bear or will bear fruits for this Ummah. Hence, it is of utmost importance that we nourish, sustain and look after our spiritual well-being, our health and our knowledge in order to be pro-active and productive and give back wholesome fruits to our community which it is clearly in dire need of today”
