Movies 2014 (11/??) - «The Lego Movie» by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller (2014)

You don’t have to be the bad guy. You are the most talented, most interesting, and most extraordinary person in the universe. And you are capable of amazing things. Because you are the Special. And so am I. And so is everyone. The prophecy is made up, but it’s also true. It’s about all of us. Right now, it’s about you. And you… still… can change everything.

Of all the fucking love stories Stephanie Meyer could have written about from Twilight, why the fuck did she have to choose creep-ass Bella and Edward? Like seriously.

Carlisle rescues Esme after she jumped off a cliff, and then fell in love with her realizing that she’s the love of his life.

Rosalie lived for years, depressed about the fact that she could never have kids, all the while healing from a super crazy gang rape and whatnot, only to meet a guy who’s dying, and for the first time, she felt like she was healed and could love/trust a guy again.

Also, where the fuck did Emmette come from anyways?

Garrett lived for years as a nomad in solitude, never in one place for a long time, but then he meets Kate. Beautiful Kate with the electric electric touch and the weirdass vegan diet. And she challenged him so fucking much.

And Kate, living for years mourning the death of her “mother” and working with a distraught Irina while trying to maintain the peace between her coven and Carlisle’s. And then she meets a nomad from the revlutionary era with the awesome long hair and the outgoing persona. and she falls in love.

And let’s talk about Jasper and Alice. Alic wakes up in, hungry for blood, the smell burning her throat yet so enticing. Somehow, she could see the future. The only thing that keeps her going is knowing that she will eventually have a family, with a coven leader who is a good man many times over, with siblings who love her and cherish her and will egg her on to keep her going, and most of all, a man who has his own struggles and dark past but who loves her with all his being.

And Jasper, depressed after leaving his former life in the South, realizing what he had previously done is absolutely terrible, but the smell of human blood is so enticing and so good. It’s such a struggle between his very strong baser instincts and his mind in all its rationality. And then, one day, Alice with her own dark past and her weird spikey  hair and her cheery persona, walks into his life. And somehow, she makes everything okay, and she helps him and his conscious win against his instinct. He loves her and she is the only thing that keeps him going sometimes.

You have all these beautiful stories that could be so fucking awesome. and Fucking stephanie meyer chooses Pathetic whiney Bella with the creepy old man Edward and very disrespectful Jacob.

Are you fucking serious?

The raven haired boy tipped back a bottle of vodka, drowning away the surging feelings of abandonment. He was seventeen, but who really cared about that anyway? Not his parents, who had left him alone almost ten years prior.

Emette wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, throwing the empty bottle against the wall of the condemned house he was currently living in. It was just another temporary stop in his fast paced life. He never stayed in one place too long, since he would rather kill himself than end up in some halfway house with  a bunch of goody-two-shoe children.

It wasn’t until he had turned toward the door that the boy froze, staring at the figure in a half drunk stupor.

"What are you doing here?" he asked the stranger, his words slurring slightly. "What do you want?"
