Feet, knees, stomach, hands - you know what? ALL OF THEM.
eyes: nine celebrity crushes. Justin Bartha, Ryan Reynolds, Jennifer Lawrence, Travis Willingham and other people. I’m not a HUGE celebrity person but I have a small handful of people who I respect, gobble up pretty pictures of and marvel at their ridiculous talent.
ears: eight favorite songs. I genuinely CAN’T choose. It’s just because music to me is all about the poetry and I have a hard time coming up with ONE without opening a flood gate of everything else that I like by that specific artist and why and— just know that I am a lyrical person and whether or not the song is catchy, who it is sung by or the like has no say on whether or not I like a song. If when I listen to it and I feel something, that’s how I know I like it.
nose: seven favorite scents. baked goods, the smell when you blow out a candle, natural smells (before it starts to rain, the really damp scent of a forest, dirt etc.), wet hair (like, after someone has a shower or swims in a lake - not a pool though, I hate the chemical smell), coffee, bacon and peach smells (doesn’t have to even be real peaches, just something peach-esque)
mouth: six favorite quotes. “God is a comedian playing to an audience that is too afraid to laugh.” (Voltaire); “Have no fear of perfection - you’ll never reach it.” (Salvador Dali); “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.” (Voltaire); “I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close.” (Pablo Neruda - shut up, it’s my favourite and I’m considering it a quote for the sake of putting it up here); “I’ve not failed. I’ve just found ten thousand ways that won’t work.” (Thomas Edison); “A pun is the lowest form of humor, unless you thought of it yourself.” (Doug Larson)
heart: five people you love in this or any other world. Nia, Skit, Jes, Kate-monster and Caveman.
hands: four things you’ve created that you’re proud of. The only things I’ve made, really, are my websites and my writing. Those can branch off into a number of things so those are my two greatest things. Honestly, I could probably live without my websites but I could never leave my writing.
stomach: three comfort foods. Anything deep fried, smothered in sugar or loaded with this-is-gonna-hurt-one-hour-from-now grease. (although chips, fruit and cupcakes work just as well)
knees: two things that make you go weak in the knees. When people pet my hair/ears (every. time.) and I’ve never had it happen but whenever I imagine someone kissing me goodnight, I wobble.
feet: one thing you want to accomplish in life. To complete the family I have already started.
