150226 tvN 'Problematic Men' - Rap Monster and his ex
(Discussing the reason for the interview question asked by Samsung in 2014 which was "Why did you break up with your ex?")
Rap Monster:I think once we heard the question, I kept thinking about why they would ask such a question so approaching it strategically will make you appear fake in their eyes.
Jeon Hyunmoo:I'm pretty sure they are very aware of if you answered it strategically or not.
Rap Monster:I think it's best to approach it in an honest manner.
Jeon Hyunmoo:Shall we talk about it then? Why did you break up with your ex? When was it? Wasn't it a week ago?
Rap Monster:It was in high school. My ex at the time had a lot of male friends...wait, I can't say it like this! Wait! Why am I clarifying myself!
Jeon Hyunmoo:You're the one who said to approach it in an honest manner. Was it frustrating to see her have a lot of male friends?
Rap Monster:Of course.
Jeon Hyunmoo:Because you were frustrated, were you jealous to the point of delusion?
Rap Monster:No, not that far. It was just that she had a lot of male friends and would behave in certain ways that would make me, her boyfriend, become suspicious of her. You know, certain actions that would create this tension between us.
Jeon Hyunmoo:So what kind of suspicions are we talking about?
Kim Jiseok:Did you not give her sufficient love?
Rap Monster:Are you asking me that?
Jeon Hyunmoo:I think we're getting too deep.
Rap Monster:I guess the interview question can lead to questions like the one you just asked.
Jeon Hyunmoo:Stop using your brain!
Rap Monster:I was taught to cram!
Jeon Hyunmoo:So clearing up the situation, there were some actions that caused you to become suspicious. Did you break up with her first?
Rap Monster:Of course I did. I asked her why she couldn't clearly draw the line between her friends and she claimed that she was just talking to them as friends, and then proceeded to tell me that I was become possessive.
Jeon Hyunmoo:(As a girl) Oppa, this is tiring. The one I love is you. Why can't you just not assume things?
Rap Monster:I...guess I would be screwed if this was really asked to me during an interview.
Rap Monster:I took TEPS (Test of English Proficiency) in my third year of junior high and scored around 800 (exact score is 797) and scored 850 on my TOEIC the first time I took it.
Jimin:You're going to be a part of 'Problematic Men' now, correct?
Jimin:Could you introduce your casting to the show in Japanese?
Rap Monster:(In Japanese) Hello, my name is Rap Monster and I am the leader of BTS. This will be the first broadcast of 'Problematic Men' that I will be a part of. I hope you all will watch it and that I will show a good image of myself.
Jimin:(Series of 'Ooh' and 'Wows') You can speak Japanese! Then can you say it in English?
