As many already know, model Tess Munster recently became a viral sensation after receiving a major modeling contract and creating the #EffYourBeautyStandards movement in 2013. And this is a huge step for body positivity.

Unfortunately, many people still can’t seem to let go of the fact that she is a size 22.

As you can see, people suck.

But seriously, all of these people are missing the point.

We are not celebrating certain lifestyles, weight, diet, or whatever. We are not encouraging any lifestyle.

We are celebrating the acceptance of people who do not fit society’s skewed perception of beauty. We are celebrating body positivity. The lifestyle of another human being is completely their business, and you have no say in it.

People come in all shapes and sizes. Some have control of these shapes and sizes, and some have no control.

A person should not have to feel lesser due to their discouraged and inaccurately represented appearances, and that is why this is so important.
