There were so many fathers that signed up to attend the 2nd Annual Dance of Their Own “Father-Daughter Dance in Jail” that was held in the Richmond City Jail, March 16, 2013. Which lead to Sheriff C.T. Woody, Jr. agreeing to an ENCORE Father-Daughter Dance in Jail again THIS YEAR…June 8, 2013 just in time for Father’s Day.

Angela Patton talks about empowering girls through a father and daughter dance project in Richmond, Virginia, that cultivates and strengthens their family bond. She is the the Founder/Executive Director of Camp Diva, an organization that provides Summer Retreat and After School programs that focus on preparing girls to become strong and healthy women.
