The cathedral of Freising (Bavarian city) “Dom St. Maria und St. Korbinian”, also known as “Mariendom” is the cathedral of the archbishop of Munich and Freising. One may find  events of the katholic church like ordination to the priesthood or devine service. Until Munich became seat of the archbishop in the year 1821 was the cathedral in Freising his seat. The cathedral was a church in the 715 and was rebuild to a bigger cathedral in 855 to 875. It was totally rebuild in the 12th century after it was burned down. — Its location is in Freising on a hill, called “Domberg”, which is one of four hills in Freising. — If you are for holidays in the near of Munich I would advise to visit Freising, because it is one of the most beautiful cities near Munich in Bavaria. — This image is a panorama of 80 images, taken with a 50mm objective and stiched with Photoshop CC (first try).
