"she talkative there’s no way she’s actually socially anxious"
“complaining with so much good in their lives is thankless”
“no way, not thin enough for an eating disorder”
“it can’t be that bad, and we all know it”
“their dad seems nice there’s no way he’s abusive”
“i talked to his boyfriend he doesn’t seem like the kind to hit”
“they’re way too happy to be depressed”
“he’s a boy, they don’t really feel sadness”

here’s the thing my love my light
there are libraries in every person that you will
never read. even if someone
seems like they’re not really hurting, some people
are better actors than others and
due to the way we were raised or the way our home life
hits us in the face sometimes we are so good
at masking pain that
most people think our smiles are synonymous
with being fine and

please don’t be the voice that tells us
we’re faking it
because we know we don’t deserve saving
that’s why when we admit we’re dying it’s
always a punchline, always a joke, always
“haha i’d go to your party but i plan on spending my night
crying alone”

even if there are those
who would take advantage of your kindness
you cannot know how much of someone
they are hiding - even if someone you know
has really honestly “faked it” for attention
most of us are just
trying to fit in
and you can’t tell for shit
that we’re

this ruins us because we hear you say
“she’s cutting for attention”
and we pull our sleeves a little lower down and
smile and nod about it

and i would much rather learn that
i do not have to worry about someone
after being supportive
than to write someone off and later discover that
i was the person to teach them that they had no real reason
to come forwards
i would rather be helpful and
have someone else be the worse person
than to one day wake up
and wonder
what i could have done
to help them.

—  always give the help you can. never distrust someone’s pain. you have no idea what they’re going through, no matter what you think you know about them // r.i.d

David Tennant has been cast in Marvel’s new series, ‘A.K.A. Jessica Jones’, premiering on Netflix this year.

Tennant will have a recurring role as the mind-controlling villain Zebediah Killgrave, more commonly known as the Purple Man.

Killgrave has a connection to superhero-turned-detective Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter, and throws her life into chaos when he reappears in New York City.

Speaking on the casting, showrunner Melissa Rosenberg said: “I’m so honoured and excited by the prospect of David inhabiting this multifaceted character. He can deliver the most heart-wrenching moment to the driest of lines, and all points in between. He’ll make Killgrave a truly original villain.”

Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s Head of Television, added: “Anyone familiar with David’s work knows he brings an incredible level of dedication to any role he inhabits, a level we knew we would need from the man playing Killgrave. While most know him for his roles as a hero, we can’t wait to unleash a whole new side of this talented actor.”

New Bloodborne concept art plus (at this time) unconfirmed gameplay details about bosses, death consequences, beast transformations, and characters!

EDIT: Oh dear, looks like the art above is an unrelated bit of (rather incredible) fanart. Thanks to harrison2142 for pointing out this oversight of mine. Still unsure about the gameplay details in the link, so ingest them with a grain of salt.

Hi there! Now I need to ask, how would one go about explaining Doctor Who to there parents. My Mom is asking about it

"There’s an alien called the Doctor who looks just like a normal human guy, only he can regenerate and take on a brand new face every time he dies. He travels through space and time in a blue time machine called the TARDIS alongside his usually female companions, trying to help people and save the day."

My brother way back in the 90’s. This picture came out cool. Hate to take advantage of his tears.😂

I am not a good man! And I’m not a bad man. I’m not a hero. I’m definitely not a president, and no, I’m not an officer. You know who I am? I am… an idiot, with a box and a screwdriver, passing through, helping out, learning. I don’t need an army, I never have. Because I’ve got them, always them, because love is not an emotion; love is a promise.

"It’ll be fun, it’ll be a thrill. Something stupid, something bad for you. Just something different. Isn’t this the point of being young? It’s your choice, Ace. People can live a hundred years without really living for a minute. You climb up here with me, it’s one less minute you haven’t lived."
