So I hurt my back squatting last Saturday, and a massage therapist told me to stay away from the gym for 3 weeks it's been 1 week and I'm dying to go back. What do you suggest?

My suggestion is that 3 weeks off is better than 3 months off. Take this time to focus on other aspects of fitness that are lacking, perhaps your diet/mobility/flexibility/weak links.
I know it sucks taking time off but it’s necessary and better if you divert your attention to other areas in the meantime.
Also when you get back, start slow and easy! imo would be best to start off with a deload week to get a feel for how your back is doing. Have a speedy recovery anon

All the things that can’t be said,
all the things that are understood nonetheless,
and finally, an unexpected reunion.

Wow, this last chapter’s been a long time coming. I’m sorry for the wait!

It took me a while to write - partly because of holiday season gatherings, partly because I got diverted writing Christmas fic, but also in large part because a lot of it was quite emotionally delicate and I wanted to work through it slowly.

The first scene alone went through a bunch of rewrites. But I’m happy with how it turned out, in the end.

I’m really grateful I had the chance to tell this ‘missing years’ story. Thank you for reading ♥

When you go through a hard period,
When everything seems to oppose you,
… When you feel you cannot even bear one more minute,
Because it is the time and place that the course will divert!

The cure for pain is in the pain.
In Silence, there is eloquence. Stop weaving and see how the pattern improves.

The truth was a mirror in the hands of God. It fell, and broke into pieces. Everybody took a piece of it, and they looked at it and thought they had the truth.

Replacing Sterek does not have to mean replacing them as a canon romance. They aren’t canon I know that, thank you for the assumption I don’t. Perhaps a better phrase would be to “replace Sterek in the minds of fans” or “direct the audience away in the hopes they would forget they liked the potential of that pair is Stiles and Derek suddenly stopped and scenes together and then began fucking the nearest female as soon as possible.” Maybe also hoping to divert from Stydia, I don’t know. Rather than the point being “I thought Sterek was canon, and am bitching now” the point was “I think Jeff wanted viewers to like what he thought they should like, not waste time enjoying what they actually enjoy, and so threw in some badly set up and developed romances to try and titilate them, shafting the female characters in the process.”

cool! ok so what if joe tries to teach spencer how to play sunset overdrive and spencer gets frustrated at the game b/c he's a beginner so joe would calm him down by rubbing circles onto his back or wherever. but that doesn't help and instead distracts spencer to the point where he can't focus on the game anymore and diverts his attention to joe.

Joe will encourage Spencer by giving him loving embraces every time he completes a mission, and then giving him chaste kisses every time Spencer reaches the next chapter! “You gotta jump on the garbage can and do you special Spenc!” “Fuck yeah Spencer great jo- Spence? WAIT WAIT WAIT SPENCER YOU GOTTA FINISH TH-!”

Spencer you’re on chapter 7 now isn’t the time to makeout with your chicken head boyfriend.

Wow, guys, I just hit 100 followers c:

I love you all so much so, since my last giveaway isn’t over yet, I won’t post a new one.

Maybe I can put diverting together for valentine’s? Would you guys be interested in something small you would get in time for valentine’s?

Let me know what you would like.

A worker was in Brazil’s Cuncas II tunnel on Jan. 28. The tunnel will link canals being built to divert water from the Sao Francisco River for use in four drought-plagued states. Ueslei Marcelino

For many reasons, I am in need of a journey that will change my mind and divert me generally; for I have been extraordinarily depressed and melancholy of late.
