On a more serious note *throws chairs all over the place*

My save data got corrupted and had to be reformatted. All that means is I’ve lost all the time I put into the game.

Damatta Mayoral Log: Day 6 Summer Solstice

It’s the summer solstice, and I thought that this would be the perfect time to break out my camera. Probably not gonna attach photos to all my future updates though. Too much effort.

  1. Shopping district is getting a new shop. I don’t remember signing off on any permits for building or the like, but then again I sign off on pretty much anything Isabelle stick on my desk, and I trust her judgement on these things. She seems a little more in touch with the people than I could ever hope to be.
  2. Speaking of in touch with the people, she’s set up an event for the summer solstice, including a photo booth (unfortunately she was too shy to get a photo in it with me) and a complimentary pair of ladder shades for everyone in town.
  3. Finally got to meet the former mayor, an old geezer by the name of Tortimer. He’s retired on a tropical island, and has extended a year round invitation to yours truely. Can’t wait for my next vacation to go check it out.
  4. Greeting yet another new resident in town, a trend setter by the name of Henry. Seems like a nice enough dude, and I’m sure he will fit in fine around here.
  5. I think someone confused my fortune cookie with Joan of Arc.
Não roubamos, tiramos. Já o vizinho (ou o adversário político) rouba e espia, enquanto nós damos uma simples e rápida olhadinha. O inimigo faz assédio, nós damos uma cantadazinha
Damatta Mayoral Log: Day 5 Routine

Not much going on today. Spent nearly the whole day fishing and catching bugs so that I could have Tom Nook (the house ninja) do some renovations for me. Also dumped a bunch of bells into the fund for constructing a fountain.  Everything is starting to fall into a routine.  Everything in its place.  Even the fact I have yet to see another human in town no longer concerns me in the slightest.  I just wish the rain would let up.  It’s day 3 of rain nonstop.  The grounds all muddy.

Need to wipe my shoes,

Mayor Joe
