Weight gain is never easy, especially when you’re in recovery (no matter how far along into it, or how successful you’ve been). I’m 23 pounds heavier than when I started my journey to the stage over a year and a half ago. Sometimes it’s shocking to see the number on the scale rise to numbers I’ve never seen, but with all my gains in the weight room, the muscle mass I’ve attained already, and what I still have left over the next 18 weeks… I feel better than ever. Sure, I wish I were show ready now, for summer. But it will all be worth it in the end! The scale doesn’t tell you the whole truth, especially when you’re a muscle making machine! You can judge me and underestimate me now, but I’ll have the last laugh when I earn my procard! #hardwork and #determination is what my family always taught me to embody.
