If you wonder how long is a light year…

It’s clear a light-year is a vast expanse. Over a year, light travels 5.87849981 x 1012 miles (roughly 9.4605284 x 1012 kilometers.) Written out, that’s 5,878,499,810,000 miles or 9,460,528,400,000 kilometers.

We hide the truth a lot of the time, for different reasons, either to protect others, or because we consider our problems to not be as important as everyone else’s. We keep people in the dark, we push them away because we don’t know how to ask for help. We’d rather say were “fine” instead of saying “I’m not as okay as I seem”. We hide things out of shame, or because we believe others might not pay any attention to us if we asked them to.
