This is my humble contribution to the CC memorial/celebration.
This is my very first official “couple’s” submission. Or it would have been.
It isn’t the greatest quality, nor is it straight (I didn’t bring my tripod), but it is me and my hubby together. And that is huge for us. It is a big step for him. To put himself out there.
So in your honour Lioness, I present to you, my husband.
Here’s another outtake from last week’s CC. I’m pretty busy today so I’m not sure if I’ll get around to taking new shots, but I want to make sure to keep up with the CC community.
Y’all are so sweet, I’m so happy to see so much support for my dear, darling Lioness.
(Btw, this is a subblog for me. If I like your posts or follow you, it will be under my main blog. Feel free to shoot me a message if you’re interested in connecting there.)

i never do this, no one will see it, and i will probably end up deleting this…
but this is dedicated to my dearest Lioness and her ridiculously beautiful soul.
Wednesdays will be so sad without my fix of all the gorgeous coffee clubbers to scroll through. i only had the balls to submit to coffee club a few times, but each photograph took so much courage for someone who has been struggling with body dysmorphic disorder for the majority of this life. i want to give such a huge thank you to Lioness, fellow coffee clubbers, and my ex-lover for reminding me i’m beautiful no matter what my mind has to say. for giving me the courage to embrace every inch of my body and getting me to a place where at least some days i wake up with confidence. i never would have dreamed of even taking a photograph like this, let alone putting it out there for other’s to see if it weren’t for all of yous.
i have so much more to say, but not much time. i hope everyone who was involved, or even just enjoyed viewing coffee club do not forget the wonderful lesson Lioness has taught us all; love thyself fully, flaws and all.
Despite following Lioness and Coffee Club for quite some time, I never submitted. Mostly because I’m rather shy, and self conscious, and prefer to stay relatively anonymous. So, needless to say, submitting was WAY out of my comfort zone (but that was kind of the point, right?). The courage, confidence and strength of those that really do post is amazing to me.
With Lioness’ departure (I wish her well… what a kind soul) I decided I needed to do something to show my appreciation for Coffee Club and everything that comes with it.
Shadows have a somber feeling to me, and today is a rather somber day. However, shadows also bring with them the promise of a new day. Coffee Club will continue on, Lioness will live her life, and, maybe, someday, I’ll post a “real” submission.
The twilight hours. Wrapping up a great Saturday and gearing up for a week in NYC with the crew to bring you more great brands and product collaborations for 2015. SD…we have lightweight Spring denim coming at you for the first time. It’s gonna be good. @jerymc is in the shop all day fitting you up for that new pair so drop in and get some coffee with him till 7 tonight. #loneflag #rogueterritory #coffeeclub (at Rogue Territory Spring)
This was my first submission on Tumblr. It was submitted and posted anonymously to Coffee Club. It was both terrifying and thrilling to see my nude body posted on the internet. I’ve found a great deal of comfort in expressing myself through these photos and I hope that others find some kind of connection to them.
