Trans* people are more likely to report poor health and well-being than the general population. Despite sharing a protected characteristic under the Equality Act awareness of trans* health issues remains low amongst healthcare professionals and commissioners. This major national conference will look at specific health needs and issues surrounding trans* inclusion in the planning and delivery of health, public health, and social care services.
Supported by the partner providers of cliniQ, a new and innovative trans* health and well-being NHS service in central London, together with the National LGB & T Partnership this conference will provide a trans* voice into the health debate and offer practical solutions for trans* engagement and strategic inclusion in the health and social care sectors.

The venue is fully accessible and the conference will be a comfortable and safe space for all trans* people who attend.
Please pass this on to anyone else that you think would be interested in attending.
This event has just been announced. Gendered Intelligence would like to hear from any young trans people 13-25 who are interested in going along - the conference is looking for youth input, and at the least, we’d like to take along a group of young trans people with GI! If you think you’d like to come with us, email email@example.com to express an interest. We’ll post more details nearer the time.
