I had physical therapy this morning - I hurt my back by falling ass-over-teakettle on the ice during the Winter That Would Not End - and usually I wear something vaguely exercise-y. The sweatshirt is RACHEL by Rachel Roy and I got it at TJ Maxx, which I remember for some reason. It was made in China. The t-shirt underneath I got at Goodwill, by a brand called Lani California, and it was made in the USA! This doesn’t necessarily mean it was made under good working conditions, sadly, and I can’t find much more information about this company’s manufacturing process. The leggings are from Dorothy Perkins and were made in Bangladesh. My boots, the brand of which I don’t remember, also say they were made in China. Bleh.

Another thing I’m learning with this “wear everything” part of the experiment - already - is that just trying something on in front of a mirror for a minute to see if it still fits is not actually enough for me to determine whether I REALLY WILL wear it. I need to wear it for, like, life activities to realize that. I wore that harlequin-ish shirt yesterday all day and you know what? It’s terrible. It doesn’t actually fit me correctly, because it’s built for someone with more shoulders and less boobs, and the buttons kept popping open. So into the swap bag it went. BYEEEEE HARLEQUIN

A friend recently spotted this amazingly bad Eden the Elephant pirated shirt in China.

I think Eden has even been bedazzled, why did I never think of that?!
