Doors 9pm (right after John Waters’ performance at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall) —————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————- Chew Disco returns with drag-punk icon and self-described ‘sexual repulsive’ Ms Vaginal Davis, whose genderqueer art, music, experimental film, and zines helped shaped the evolution of queer/punk culture and have influenced artists and performers such as Sonic Youth, RuPaul, Le Tigre, and Peaches. She has lectured and curated extensively, and performed/partied/exhibited/collaborated with Margaret Cho, Bruce La Bruce, Marianne Faithful and Yoko Ono among many others.
Recently chosen by Antony Hegarty (Antony & the Johnsons) to perform at Meltdown Festival 2012, this is her first performance in Liverpool.
With DIY supergroup Shopping, DJs (Bollox, Raw Like Sissy) playing a messticle of electro, hip hop, post punk, alternative, dance anthems and houseparty jams all night long, and MORE.
