A list of anime for charisasori, or whoever!

Bold I’ve seen, in italic I finished. Don’t let the rarity of the italics dissuade you, I am just notoriously bad at finishing anime. If you’re interested in knowing more about a series I haven’t seen, feel free to ask my friend Jessica.

In no particular order:

Card Captor Sakura(#1, 10/10 would recommend, gold medal, the best) (okay it was my first anime I might be biased)

Pretear: New Snow White Legend (only 13 episodes and wonderful)

Magic Knight Rayearth (finished season 1 of 2)

Escaflowne (actually not overly shoujo)

Fushigi Yuugi

Wolf’s Rain

Scrapped Princess

Kodomo no Omocha (Child’s Toy)

Ouran High School Host Club

El Hazard (maybe not shoujo?)

Kyou Kara Maou (not shoujo)

Trinity Blood (not shoujo)

Tsubasa Chronicle

Life - Nov. 22 & 23

Rough day and rough night. Failed to meet the due date on an important assignment (for the first time ever) and I’ve gone from angry, ashamed, sad, understanding, accepting, and feeling wiser and generally lighter because I now know better. I have no idea…I think I just experienced one of those life changing life-lessons I’ve always read about.

To be honest? I feel like someone smacked some sense into my perfectionist and procrastinating head using a giant smelly fish.

Thank you very much to my mother who listened to me have a ridiculous 1hr. Mood-swing session. I think I need to do something to make it up to her since (now that I think about it) I sounded very much like a petulant brat.

Gosh, what I wouldn’t give for a pint of ice cream right now. My ego still feels pretty bruised.

I’m so creeped out right now. Is dashboard déjà vu possible?

Cuz I was scrolling and I thought that ‘this series of posts looks strangely and extremely familiar’ ( not just the posts, but the order they were in as I scrolled down ) and it hasn’t stopped yet.

I’m scrolling and scrolling but it’s still so FAMILIAR. What happened. Did my dash time travel or something because it just gets worse the more I scroll down.

I feel so proud I have to share it with someone!

I have a little cousin who took classes in martial arts (and he’s really good, too)…he’s really sweet and is very kind and protective of his younger sister.

Several months ago we found out he was being bullied in school and that he never hit back, never made any aggressive moves. Not once. He just took it. When he was asked why he let the bullies do those things to him, he told us (without any hostility and very calmly) that he didn’t want to hurt them. Knowing that he’d only continue getting hurt (since he refuses to fight back at all) his parents have since decided to homeschool him.

…and I’m just sitting here feeling very proud of him and wondering how that adorable little toddler I used to babysit went from being a bright-eyed, cheerful, avid Doodlebops fan to one of the most caring, responsible people I’ve ever met.

He even (cheerfully!) helps his mother fold the laundry!

*blows nose* Who knew that little baby I met for the first time, all red and fragile, all those years ago could turn into such an amazing person?

I’m just kind of stumped right now.

I mean, I still remember filling his baby bottles with milk, complaining about how he kept biting me, pulling my hair, him going nuts every time he saw a “ducky”, and doing my best to get him to laugh because his laugh was one of the most adorable things I’d ever heard.

I am just so amazed.
