Day 8
That lunch was so delicious! I used raw red onion in the tuna nicoise rather than sun-dried tomato (not a huge fan, plus they were really expensive!) so people got all “your lunch stinks” in the staff room but you know what? I’m eating well and enjoying it so I don’t care!

I did the fit girl’s workout (6 push ups, 40sec plank, 20 mountain climbers, 12 tricep dips - repeat 2 more times) and wore my CF top. There’s a show on BBC1 tonight about a friend of a friend who is awaiting a lung transplant due to Cystic Fibrosis.

Whenever I can I do runs or fundraising for the CF Trust who are doing amazing research and provide help to people suffering from this life threatening, hereditary disease. For more info please check out their website :

About CF

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening inherited disease, affecting almost 10,000 people in the UK.

You can’t catch or develop CF, it’s something you’re born with and most cases in the UK are now diagnosed soon after birth.

If you or someone you know has been recently diagnosed with CF it can be overwhelming, but we can help with information and support.

Find out what causes cystic fibrosis, what it’s like living with CF and how CF care is delivered in the UK.

Read the CFTrust Frequently Asked Questionspublications and factsheets, and links to other websites for more information.

Cystic Fibrosis is…

Cystic fibrosis is chronically misunderstood, kills thousands worldwide and is carried unknowingly in the genes of millions. It’s often invisible to the naked eye yet destroys lives, stopping them short, inflicting hardship and distress on those affected, their families and carers. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is leading the battle against the condition. Find out more at
