Dedicated to creator of Mr. Men, Roger Hargreaves, who would have been 76 today.

Naughty But Mice 1939

if you’ve ever heard me sing “How Dry I Am” and had no clue as to what i was referring to, then watch this here cartoon, churrins’.

i’m sure i’ll be singing this at the top of my lungs tomorrow on the drunk stumble walk home, while i point and wink at people driving by. (i’m kidding, i hate people, i’ll be winking at the poles, walls & benches that are going to keep me from falling over).

enjoy.

Snoopy & Woodstock have to be the greatest cartoon duo ever. Here’s my favorite pooch doing an impersonation of myself whenever i go to wind down with a couple “Root Beer” pints at Timmy’s or The Reagle Beagle.

Tom & Jerry-Pecos Pest 1955

as i mentioned before Tom & Jerry was/is still one of my favorite cartoons. Even the strange GENE DEITCH episodes, which i am terribly fond of.

Anywhosels, this morning i was rocking the Casino soundtrack and Les Paul & Mary Ford’s “How High the Moon” came on. This was obvioulsy a sign for me to post this episode of T&J for Cartoonsday, in which they give a nod to that song at the 4:55 mark. Go on, Uncle Pecos. Rock on, Les.
