Song of Soaring

OKAY FOR REAL THIS TIME oh dear aoergh you guys saw nothing right right???  Right.  BUT ANYWAYS… I’d been having a hard time getting back into the drawing groove (at my own fault for taking a stupid long break from drawing after finishing a long commission) so the other day I tried this idea I got from playing so much Majora’s Mask lately and I WAS ABLE TO GET IT DOWN AND TA DAAA.  I’m so happy to be back in it oairhg The song of soaring has always been one of my favorite ocarina songs too, it’s such a cool song and I absolutely love the animation it gets (~˘▾˘)~

I’M REALLY HAPPY WITH HOW THIS CAME OUT TOO… Link especially (●´艸`)ヾ I’m just really proud of how everything turned out with him oariehgioerhg THE WINGS ON THE OTHER HAND.  Are an entirely different story.  It’s been a long time since I’ve made a go at fully detailed wings so I struggled for so long trying to get everything to look right it was terrible.  It took everything in my power not to do blobs of white shaped into wings. BUT I DID IT and I don’t think they turned out too bad!!  I’ll have to practice with drawing them more but…!

Sam Smith Cancels Australian Tour Due To Vocal Cord Hemorrhage

Bad news for Sam Smith’s Australian fans: the singer has canceled his Australian tour due to a hemorrhage to his vocal cords (that sounds SO painful). Sam’s doctors say he cannot perform until his heavenly vocal chords have completely healed.

Sam shared a message, writing:

“I am deeply, deeply saddened to tell my Australian fans, I have to cancel my Australian tour. I have been vocally exhausted for a while now however last night in Sydney I had a small hemorrhage on my vocal cords. The doctors have told me I need to fully rest until my vocal chords have healed, otherwise this could become a huge long-term issue. I am so sorry to all who have bought tickets, I truly am. This kills me.”

While his Australian dates have been canceled so Sam could get better, the promoter did announce they would be rescheduled, and that “a schedule is being drawn up for another tour this December.”

Silent Hills Isn’t Happening, Says Guillermo del Toro

Bad news all around for Silent Hills today. Earlier in the morning, Konami announced that they would be removing the P.T. demo at the end of the month. While there was hope that this was simply because it was a limited time offer, it looks like this could have indeed been the beginning of the end for the project.

Take a look!

Please fire me. I work in customer service at a hotel and this is one of our busy seasons right now due to different team sports that have tourneys in the area. Our sales department knowingly oversells the hotel to get their commission rates higher thus earn more money. When guests check in and we don’t have rooms for them we get blamed for the problem and sales gets off scott free. Not only due we get yelled at by pissed off guests we also get yelled at by upper management.

Konami Confirms Silent Hills is Officially Cancelled

This past weekend has been absolutely devastating for Silent Hill fans. Not only was P.T. announced to soon be pulled from virtual shelves, but both Guillermo del Toro and Norman Reedus announced that their upcoming Silent Hills was no more. While that was all the confirmation we needed to know the game was dead, Konami has gone ahead and made it official today.

Go see!

Thomas Barrow, Two Photographs from the Series “Cancellations”, (1973-1981)

“It’s unclear whether Barrow is canceling the photograph or the scene in the picture. He is certainly calling attention to the matrix that produced the photograph, an unheard of practice at the time he shot this series and still rare today. By defacing his negatives, he has created photographs that are as much about the physical image as they are about the subject in the photograph.”
