The ASAs at Ryerson, UofT St. George, and McMaster are pleased to host the Toronto premiere of the critically acclaimed and Academy Award-nominated short film Buzkashi Boys.

We will also be joined by Ariel Nasr, the Afghan-Canadian producer of Buzkashi Boys who will talk about the film and host a Q&A session.

While there is no set admission fee, we will be collecting donations for the Afghan Film Project, a non-profit NGO and key partner for Buzkashi that aims to tell uniquely Afghan stories while building the capacity of Afghanistan’s film industry.

The suggested donation per person is $5.

The confirmed location of the film is LIB 72 on the ground floor of the Library Building at Ryerson University.

This event is for everyone. Please feel free to bring family and friends!
