Treasure Fingers x BOSCO - Names (Official Video)
Here’s a glitchy analog music video I helped to create/direct for Fool’s Gold Recs artists Treasure Fingers and BOSCO. Thanks to BOSCO for finding me through Tumblr, and everyone involved! : ] It was debuted earlier today on Vogue Magazine.
Fool’s Gold DJ/producer Treasure Fingers and fellow ATLien Bosco teamed up for the ecstatically house-y “Names,” a summer jam turned year-round banger that’s been turning heads on dancefloors around the globe, burning up Fashion Week runway playlists, and now - thanks to a blissfully glitched-out music video - taking over a screen near you. Channeling public access dance shows and webcam dance parties, it’s a hypnotic look at two of club music’s most distinctive voices. Tune in and turn up!

This was created using footage shot in NY of BOSCO, as well as lots of my own material glitched and reprocessed. The hyper-color, analog/lo-fi visuals were created by filming my computer with an old MiniDV camcorder which was fed through my Tachyons+ Vortex Decoder and B.P.M.C. Fritz Decontroller v3. I recorded the output on my LG plasma television using a Canon EOS T2i DSLR camera. Additional post-processing effects created using the Rowbytes Software TV Distortion Bundle. I edited a fair amount using Final Cut Pro 7, then handed off my version plus 350GB of raw material to their crew in NY. The final video looks beautiful. Very happy to have been a part of this!
