The Pride festival will be held in beautiful Druid Hill Park. The festival will feature many regional and local performers, vendors, the Lady Lisa Memorial Drag Stage, a Family Zone, the WeDo Baltimore mass wedding, and plenty of fun for the whole community to enjoy. An estimated 5,000 celebrants are expected to come out on Sunday for the fun and festivities

On most Friday nights, the traveling food truck rally known as The Gathering pulls into one of a handful of locations on a rotating basis. The Gathering occasionally will appear at weekend festivals, too. The family friendly events typically go from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Most Gatherings inclued live music. Admission is always free, and guests can purchase all  all-you-can drink wristbands or individual drink tickets. Details about the venues are on The Gathering website.  http://www.thegatheringbaltimore.com/

About six years ago we took on a little capital project known as Center Plaza. We added lighting, seating, fountains, and grass. Now we have the perfect oasis at the corner of Charles & Fayette streets to host happy hours. Pints in the Park returns to Center Plaza this Friday, Aug. 8, 5-8pm. Stop by for $2 beers and wine from Brewer’s Art and Linganore Winecellars, the Doughy Dog food truck, a free concert by Nelly’s Echo, and more.
