Tried a new place in Denver today. I’ve been hearing about it for a while ~ Jelly. I ordered a hash consisting of two picturesque eggs on top of a mound of root vegetables. Great idea but lacking in the seasoning department. It was served with a fluffy biscuit and what I think might have been homemade jam, so they regain some points there. However, the highlight of the meal was there donuts. We ordered cinnamon & sugar, Thai peanut, chocolate creme anglaise, and lemon custard. More along the lines of tiny little bignets than what you think of as a traditional donut. Good service and fun atmosphere. I’m definitely willing to give this place another go!
