BEFORE SEVEN--WILBY WEDNESDAY

"Philby felt confused. Because you’re smart? Beacaue you’re a Willa kind of pretty?
p. 37 KK4

This quote really speaks to me and makes me feel all fuzzy inside. It shows the one thing I think is most amazing about his world—there’s different kinds of beauty. Willa’s her own person. She’s not Charlene, or Amanda, or Jess…she’ a Willa kind of pretty, her own, individual self…which, I think, makes her the most beautiful ;)

Reblog if you agree…Wilby’s a wonderful thing! :)

BEFORE SEVEN--FAMANDA FRIDAY

"He found himself looking at an upside-down of a girl named Amanda Lockhart, who had transferred to the school in late September, a few weeks earlier. She had exotic-looking etes, a deep, natural tan, and a few freckles on her cheeks. She was stretching along with a dozen other girls. Finn wasn’t big on girls, but something about Amanda grabbed and held his attention.”

BEFORE SEVEN DAY #8--FAMANDA FRIDAYS--ALL FAMANDA SHIPPERS REBLOG

"I’ve got you," he said, taking her gently by the upper arm. "Hang in there." She’d saved his life. The least he can do was get her to Mrs. Nash’s foster home safely. She tugged away from the contact—was is wrong to grab a girl by the upper arm?—but he squeezed more tightly, not letting her go. Briefly, she leaned her head against his shoulder, just to where it touched. Then she straightened back up and allowed herself to be guided across the vast expense of open blacktop as Finn raced for the car.”

BEFORE SEVEN DAY #IDONTKNOW--EPIC QUOTE

angelface13: what if we can’t find jez?
Finn had half expected a question like that from Charlene. But he wasn’t prepared for the sinking feeling in his gut as he read it. His fingers hesitated briefly above the keyboard. And then he typed.
finn: that’s not an a option.

BEFORE SEVEN DAY #11--MAYLENE MONDAYS

"Except when it came to Terry Maybeck and Finn Whitman, two of her fellow Keepers. Terry, who wasn’t exactly Calvin Klein eye candy. Terry, who considered himself to be God’s gift to girls. Terry, who came from a broken home, had a few close friends, and worked every day after school to help his aunt Jelly. Terry, who Charlene couldn’t stop thinking about."
