Cheesy Baked Bread Bowl Dip

8 oz garlic herb cream cheese, softened
8 oz sour cream
16 oz extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (divided)
3 scallions, chopped
5 strips bacon, cooked and chopped
1 cup smoked ham, chopped
1 large artesian bread, hollowed out
Items for dipping: celery sticks, carrot sticks, broccoli, rice crackers, shrimp, etc.

Preheat the oven to 350-deg.

In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a flat paddle, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, 14 oz cheddar cheese, scallions, bacon, and ham.  Beat on medium speed until well combined.

Spoon the mixture into the hollowed-out bread.  Place on a large cookie sheet, sprinkle with the reserved cheddar cheese, and bake for one hour. 

Let sit five minutes, then serve with an assortment of dippers.
