Yeah, bro! Liquid nitrogen really isn’t that scary. All of your teachers will try to trick you into thinking that it is, but it pretty much boils on contact with anything. Whenever we use it in lab and I’m waiting for something, I distract myself by sticking my hand in the liquid nitrogen (and promptly removing it, of course). The stuff will boil upon touching your hand as long as you don’t leave it in too long, and it’s really cool because you remove your hand from it expecting it to be wet since you just stuck your hand in a liquid, but it’s not. It’s completely dry. You can pour liquid nitrogen on electronics without damaging them, too! My prof even did it for fun once.
