The luxurious Plaza Athénée opened in 1911 and reached international fame by 1936. Dior turned the Avenue Montaigne into the avenue of haute couture, and the hotel became and continues to be a focus for the fashion and beauty industries. The hotel’s refurbishment in 2000 melded classical with modern style and technology. There’s 188 bedrooms and suites, all of which encompass both Art Deco and French Rococo styles and offer amazing views of the courtyards, Avenue Montaigne, and the Eiffel tower. For the occupants of the Royal Suite, the duplex Art Deco Suite, or one of three Eiffel Suites, unlimited access to two Aston Martins, one four-door, four-seat Rapide, and a two-seater Cygnet is available for an unforgettable way to explore Paris.
