Mortal friends, fleeting as roses I endure. Your curtain closes. What a quandary this poses - Death is what life presupposes.
The other day, as I was pondering the nature of existence and shit, I got to thinking…what could be lonelier than immortality? Naturally, since I’m currently obsessed with Adventure Time, I thought of Marceline. How many friends do you suppose she’s watched grow old and die over the past thousand years? What a terrible burden to bear. And, because I’m a sick fuck, I decided to draw her visiting Finn’s grave in the distant future, after the rest of the world has forgotten about him.
