Did you know climbing a tree can give your brain a boost? Simply figuring out how to climb a tree engages the brain in new ways, strengthening your neural receptors. If there are physical limitations that prohibit you from safely climbing a tree, there other things you can do to engage your brain. Read, do crossword puzzles, travel, build model airplanes, do yoga, take a different route to work, etc. The point is don’t get stuck doing the same thing day in and day out. Mix it up a bit and let your brain think. Source: Franklin Institute (http://www.fi.edu/learn/brain/)
