Arboreal Alligator Lizard (Abronia garminea)

is a species of arboreal alligator lizard endemic to parts of Mexico. As referenced by their common name these lizards are exclusively arboreal and are often found high up in trees where they inhabit bromeliads. They are currently listed as endangered due to land degradation and deforestation.
