Breaking News: Storzer Athletic Center to be struck with a colossal "White Out" this Wednesday evening
Okay, well, it’s not the first big storm of the season (it’s Wisconsin, you never really know!), but it’s still an incredibly fun event. This Wednesday, Nov 28, both Ripon College Red Hawks Basketball teams will be playing Lawrence University from Appleton, Wisconsin. This is the first Midwest Conference game of the season for both teams. Since it is a “White Out” both teams’ fans are asked to wear all white from their heads to their toes, filling the stands of Wyman Gymnasium in what could be called a human snowbank! The women’s game will start at 5 pm and the men’s game will begin at 7 pm!
More Breaking News! This just in from the Ripon College Red Hawks Athletics Facebook Page:
Taylor Koth needs just seven points in Wednesday’s game against Lawrence to become the 28th player in the 114-year history of the men’s basketball program to score 1,000 points in a career. Also, Erin Lind needs 26 points against the Vikings on Wednesday to become only the eighth Ripon women’s basketball player to score 1,000 career points. Please come out to Wyman Gymnasium at Storzer Center to support both basketball programs and watch these two players make history. The women’s game will begin at 5 p.m., with the men’s game to follow at 7 p.m.
Come cheer on Taylor and Erin as they try to enter into Ripon College’s history books this Wednesday!
