I remember my last day in Makkah it was a Friday, we were in the Haram just before jumah prayer, a man walked past, put a misbaha in my mums hand and continued walking. He didn’t stop to wait for us to thank him or smile at him. We looked back and he was gone, lost in the crowd. It was so beautiful wallahi, to give anonymously without hoping for a thanks or even a smile. It is stated “Ikhlas is that you do not request anyone to witness your action except Allah, and that you do not seek anyone to reward you (for it) except Him.” I don’t know who or where he is but I hope Allah rewards him greatly for his humbleness, may we all learn from him, InshaAllah.

Isaiah is very smart. He already has our bfing routine down lmao. The moment I lay him on a pillow (he has to feed a little upward because of his reflux) he completely stops fussing and just waits with wide eyes. Then when I lay down next to him he turn his little head and body by himself towards me waiting for boob. When he sees my boob he starts bobbing his head forward kind of trying to latch on lol. Sometimes he latches on when I’m not looking and I’m just like “oh ok” haha. It’s adorable. He looks like a fishy when he does this.

"The saddest word
in the whole wide world
is the word almost.
He was almost in love.
She was almost good for him.
He almost stopped her.
She almost waited.
He almost lived.
They almost made it.”
