4 Bedroom flat Hendon Hall Court London NW4 £575,000
I’m not very familiar with Hendon (ok, I don’t even know where it is) but look at this block. Isn’t it great?! It was designed by renowned Brutalist architect Owen Luder (who was behind the fantastic yet ill fated Tricorn Centre in Portsmouth). The block of private flats was built in the late sixties.
There are no pictures of the interior of this flat unfortunately, but if you can’t stretch to £575,000 there’s plenty of other flats on the market in this block starting at £215,000 for a two bedroom flat with a private balcony. That does’t sound bad! Now—where’s my A-Z…
Awarded the RIBA London Bronze medal in 1963, Eros House drew both strongly positive and negative comments when it was completed. Designed by Rodney Gordon under the supervision of Owen Luder, the block exhibits Luder’s signature brutal concrete style with a deeply modelled facade.
