Nuthin-But-A-'G'-Thang

Brian Williams Raps Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,’ ‘Nuthin’ but a G Thang’ VIDEO [WATCH]

Brian Williams, the host of “NBC News,” has proven to be humorous at times during his stops along the talk show circuit. Still, he was probably one of the last people Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg expected to see covering their 1992 hit “Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang” during “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”

That’s a little bit of a stretch. In reality, some clever editors over at “Late Night” decided to cut brief clips of Williams saying individual words, form the hook to the hit single when strung together. Add those clips over a sample of the original song’s laid back beat, and the video sounds (if not looks) like Williams himself is straight out of Compton.

Snoop Dogg Back In The Studio With Dr. Dre

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre aka the dream team are back in the studio. Snoop Dogg posted an Instagram picture Wednesday of him and Dr. Dre in the studio, confirming that the rapper-producer duo that made Doggystyle, “Nuthin But A G Thang,” and “Still D.R.E.” is once again in business. “Guess who bAcc,” wrote Tha Doggfather, followed by shining stars, a microphone, explosions, a gun, and a stack of cash in emoji form. Dr. Dre recently got back in the studio with his old protege Slim The Mobster, looks like he’s making the rounds with the old riders. Given the recent release of Snoop’s BUSH it’s hard to say what they are working on. There are many potential reasons for the reunion. Could be a new Snoop project, could be Detox, could just be them getting together to smoke a blunt. Regardless, good to see this goon squad back in action. Gz up, hoes down.
