“for beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone’ - Audrey Hepburn

We have been led to imagine all sorts of things infinitely more marvelous than the imagining of poets and dreamers of the past. It shows that the imagination of nature is far, far greater than the imagination of man. For instance, how much more remarkable it is for us all to be stuck-half of us upside down-by a mysterious attraction, to a spinning ball that has been swinging in space for billions of years, than to be carried on the back of an elephant supported on a tortoise swimming in a bottomless sea.
—  Richard Feynman
Men and beasts were there, in person: the illustrations were their bodies and the text their souls, their particular essences; outside the walls, you met vague shapes which more or less resembled the archetypes without attaining to their perfection: in the Zoo, the monkeys were less like monkeys and, in the Luxenbourg Gardens, men were less like men. A Platonist by condition, I moved from knowledge to its object; I found ideas more real than things, because they were the first to give themselves to me and because they gave themselves like things. I met the universe in books: assimilated, classified, labelled and studied, but still impressive; I confused the chaos of my experiences through idealism which it took me thirty years to undo.
—  Jean-Paul Sartre, in Words
If you know that eye and ear are two things=ideas measuring the one and same „stuff“, then you understand that there is no seeing as such. Idea of sensuousness as if it was airiness is a complete blindness.
„Eye“ is only perceiving „some aspects of ideas“ (due to the will) . Inner/third eye is only knowing. There´s no such thing as seeing (as such), as if it was something finished and simple, something non-complex. The only „real“ term of seeing is a procesual synthesis of idea of perceiving and the knowing. An interpretation of interpretation of interpretation and so on: „seeing“ is always something from the very core completely new…just like a dream. And it is unseparated from the term of creating (everything from nothing=miracle). Truly all seeing and all sensing is symbolic, poetic, mythogeneric, is of a visionary nature. There is nothing outside of ultrametaphysical all-encompassing eternal fact of the Play.
