I can lift you up. I can show you what you wanna see and take you where you wanna be.
In the last 3 years, I’ve joined ACTS Academy’s summer dance workshops yearly, except for this year. Why? I have no bloody clue why I gave up dancing. I’d tell people it’s because I wanted to focus on swimming (which is true) but I feel like that’s really not a valid reason. And, oh how I wish I joined this year. It had fun and excitement written all over it with a black Sharpie in bold letters. My siblings, who are amazing dancers, have joined 3 years in a row, even joining the first ever ACTS dance camp, which I skipped too. Damn.
I almost went home in tears after the Dekada (ACTS Academy is celebrating their tenth year of dance! Hurrah!) recital, last June 7th, because I was so jealous and I was calling myself stupid for not joining. :(
You could be my luck. Even if the sky is falling down, I know that we’ll be safe and sound.
It doesn’t help that I have a crush on that one guy in this photo. I’m not saying who. LOL. But hey, I mean “crush” like he’s a great dancer and he’s cute. :)
They danced to Let It Go! How adorable is that?!
Curtain Call… I could have been up there dancing than down where I was, taking this photograph.
They danced to Safe and Sound by Capital Cities and it was so awesome. It’s always my favorite part because no matter what you dance, who you are, where you’re from, we all get united during the curtain call with one last dance altogether.
It makes me feel so happy, seeing how happy everyone is, before-during-after dancing. And I miss dancing so much. I swear I’ll be back on that stage next year. ;)
A huge congratulations to my siblings, Andie and Andrei, for a job well done during the recital. And congratulations to ACTS Academy for their 10th anniversary. :)x
