The title of the final song on “Yeezus” is “Bound 2”, which would obviously seem to indicate that a “Bound 1” exists. Well, looks like we found it. Kanye collaborator Hudson Mohawke played this track at a recent concert in the UK.

This is obviously an early version of the track, as Kanye mumbles through parts of the song that weren’t written yet. However, this gives us a good indication about what the song sounded like prior to producer Rick Rubin coming in and scrambling the whole album.

To further add to the storyline, Tyler The Creator took to Twitter late last night to say that he actually co-produced this version.

There have been rumors of a “Yeezus” remix album releasing at some point this year. Hopefully that happens, and hopefully this song is included.

NPR Music: Miguel, Antony and Jhené Aiko will appear on your new album, Lantern, out in June. How did you choose the vocalists?

HudMo: Well, I wanted less rapping. More songs on this record and the collaborations came around organically from sessions as people stopped by London. We all follow each other and speak on Twitter and I really wanted to work in the room with people as oppose to sending stems about the Internet for remote writing.

Yeah. I think… You become so accustomed to letting the screen tell you what’s going on when making electronic music, rather than your ears. Rick doesn’t touch any equipment or anything, he’s just in his ears. I think that’s key. Not being constrained by little blocks on a screen.
