Last Morning On The Nile In Egypt (by Mark E Tisdale)

One of many experiences I’ll never forget in Egypt was sailing the Nile on a Felucca and camping on the banks of the river over the course of two nights. On the last morning, I slipped out of the boat before the sun rose and scrambled up the dunes in darkness to be prepared to see the sunrise.

I’m not sure if I woke the others on the boat or if they had the same thought to see the sun coming over the horizon on our last morning sailing the river, but their silhouettes in the pre-dawn light adds a lot to this scene from the Nile as the world woke up in Egypt.
