I’ve never actually seen a full season of The Bachelor in the 15+ seasons that it’s been on television, so this season is a brand new experience for me. I guess mainly because I had watched Sean in Emily Maynard’s season of The Bachelorette just this past summer. Sean was one of my favorites for Emily last summer, but unfortunately (perhaps fortunately for the ladies of this season’s Bachelor) Emily did not choose him.

So when it was announced that Sean was this season’s Bachelor, I made the commitment to actually watch the season and I haven’t missed a single episode. To the point where I have changed my Monday night DVR lineup just so that it automatically records for those instances where I may be entirely too busy to watch the episode from the beginning (sad… I know… ) but I must admit, it’s been an interesting season.

This is my first chance to write a blog post about the season, but this week’s “Sean Tells All” special episode pretty much runs it down the list for me.

I honestly thought that Desiree was going to be in the final two girls, but unfortunately she isn’t and she doesn’t harbor any hard feelings for the remaining girls. And when People magazine asked her if she would be willing to be the next Bachelorette, she lets them know that she would be open to the idea at least.

The one girl that aggravated me the most this season was Tierra. The cryfests that she held on a weekly basis was really quite taxing on me as a viewer. She should’ve just sucked it up if she “couldn’t take it anymore” or that “it’s so hard being there”. Katie left in episode 2 because she couldn’t handle the environment and the process (all power to ya girl, because I don’t think I could handle it either).

Of the three girls left, we have Catherine, Lindsay and AshLee. By the looks of it, all great girls. If I were rank them, my top pick would be the same as I initially listed them. I guess we’ll see how it all plays out for Sean and I must say… I can’t wait to see the “Girls Tell All” episode. I think Tierra’s gonna tear some eyes out.
