“This time, we didn’t make any wishes for the future. We said goodbye to
our past. Now, none of us has any idea where life’s gonna take us,
‘cause what we have is now. And right now, we have each other.”
A long, long time ago, it was a night of great power. When the days grew
short, the spirits of the dead, returned to their homes to warm
themselves by the fire’s side. All across the land, huge bonfires were
lit. Ohhh, there was a marvelous celebration. People danced, and they
played games, and they dressed up in costumes, hoping to ward off the
evil spirits. Especially the boogey man.
Look here, Merle. Things are different now. There are
no niggers anymore. No dumb-as-shit-inbred-white-trash-fools either.
Only dark meat and white meat. That’s us and the dead. We survive this
by pulling together, not apart.
