"I think with the tattoos as well they keep saying you’re not the typical West End guy, but I think actors are actors. We’re all diverse. When it comes to film actors, people are inked up. When I was playing the Phantom I would literally park my bike under a photo of me as the Phantom by the stage door so it couldn’t get more stranger, but that’s where they told me to put the bike. I’d pull up and get off – it looks cool. Who is that? That’s the Phantom!"

"I don’t have a pet but I dream of someday getting a pug dog whom I will name Croque Monsieur so that I may alternate between calling him Croque, Monsieur or his full name: Croque Monsieur. I’ll more than likely only use his first and last name most often when he’s been bad."

Awards are not something that I measure my work by. I’ve been so fortunate, and I’ve gotten to do such terrific things, that it seems petty to look back and say, ‘Oh, I should have gotten that prize.’ I’ve been so blessed, it’s hard to look back and think anything but that, so I have no disappointments.”

"I feel so blessed and fortunate that the opportunities have come at the right time, to build my career and connections in this city and legitimize myself as a performer and not just that girl from the reality show, there was a stigma that came with it — now I feel like I’ve gotten to break free from that and be my own person and my own performer."
