sirmctree asked:

I'm up at 2am watching horror movies on Netflix with all the lights off in a blanket burrito cuz it's cold outside and I've the window open :D (it's fkn 39F/4C in California mayn, how)

why would you have the window open like 1) your watching horror movies that would make me so paranoid omfg and 2) where i am in its 88F and i’m fucking blanket burritod right now. like how r u even alive

ah yes, not even summer in northern australia. sitting on a high of a comfortable 41C (105F), and quite likely a good 3-4C (31F-39F) hotter in my home. good ole air-conditioner got fixed, but only the fan works. no relief whatsoever. good time to bath the dog, and indulge in a frozen coke. watching everyone else not be able handle the heat is hilarious. it’s all a matter of waiting it out. for five months.
