I’m turning 20 years old in 20 days, so I’ve decided to do a sort of look back on the last 19 years of my life. I’m making 20 short comics this month about things in my life that I want to do better or things I want to appreciate more— or little things in my life I want to share.
I think that finishing these comics will be a reminder for me to be more appreciative, positive, and kind to myself and to the people around me.
Lesson for the day: don’t be a smartass, especially when YOU have no idea what you’re talking about. You’re often never as smart as you think you are. It was my first time cooking a spaghetti squash anyway, what was I thinking?
My local grocery store sells chocolate pasta that you can make dessert dishes with. I’m going to save up to buy some so I can make that sugar pasta like in Elf, and then go into a sugar coma afterwards. There’s also chocolate cheese… not sure if I want to buy that.
Edit: I spelled “vegetable” wrong. I am a full-grown adult.
I made this challenge for myself, but it still gets a little stressful… and I’m still one behind. This would definitely be better for me if I planned ahead, which is what I’m going to start doing. Thanks for stickin’ with me, everyone!
My boyfriend’s parents got me a Pom Pom cookie cake today as an early birthday gift, it was awesome.
This comic reminds me of the guy at the Sanrio store at the Minneapolis Mall Of America! He loved Pom Pom Purin and told me last year he was requesting a shipment of Pom Pom aprons for the store… unfortunately the Sanrio store has closed :’(
Well, I didn’t exactly work according to my self-imposed deadline, but I finished 13 little comics in 20 days, which is more than I could have ever done before! My favorites were probably days 11, 7, and 4.
I’m officially, legally 20 years old today. It doesn’t feel very different, except I’m in a very good mood that I hope I can maintain for the next 20 years :o)
