i spontaneously decided to read Les Mis over Spring Break. Not a bad choice, until I realized there is a lot that is flying right over my head. I am continuously missing things in the text because I don’t understand the reference or Kindle’s pitiful excuse for a dictionary doesn’t do french.
imagine my utter delight and deep ever-lasting gratitude when I found the Brick!club on tumblr!!! real actual people (online) who can answer so many of the questions I have and then talk about things I never even thought of! god praise the internet because I probably would have hated this book by the end of it, but you blessed Brick!club enrich the text and my understanding so that even though I haven’t even met Valjean yet, I love the brick.
I know that everybody finished reading a year ago, but maybe a good-samaritan fellow reader can still answer some of my questions? or if you’re really bored and want to respond to my comments
