I’m not confident in social situations; just going up to someone in a bar and saying ‘Hi’ is going to be even more difficult because they won’t know the real me. They will just know me as a fictional person I play on the screen.

Benedict Cumberbatch’s ALS Ice Bucket Challenge - BRILLIANT!

This lengthy blooper video covers on-set goofing around from all aspects of the shoot, from fight scene mishaps to prop malfunctions to loads of laughing, dancing, and general foolishness from just about all of the cast and crew. While somewhat standard gag reel fare, this one is without any ‘set up’ bloopers or practical jokes, like the “Neutron Cream” prank seen in the “Safety First” Best Buy featurette.

"The Empath" was written by Star Trek devotee Joyce Muskat, who was one of a very select group of fans who were managed to sell scripts to the show. (The others were David Gerrold, Judy Burns, and Jean Lisette Aroeste.) Robert Justman read her unsolicited screenplay, then titled “The Answerer,” and liked it enough to recommend it go to production, making it her only professional television credit.
