This is my wife, Catherine. AKA The Strangelet. Today is her birthday. Here is a photo of us in the most beautiful, otherworldly place on earth, Oregon, where we were for our brief honeymoon and for a visit.
We dated briefly in college and later, years later, met again because of the Facebook boom in 2007, when one said, “wow! This Facebook thing is pretty cool! I can find everyone I used to know!” instead of now where you find yourself saying, “Jesus mother scratching Christ, Facebook is annoying and I don’t like these people anymore because all they post are quotes from their spoiled children.”
Anyway, we met again. I thought she was married. Lucky for me, she wasn’t.
Now we live in St. Louis and are married to one another. I can’t imagine a better place to be than with her.
Happy birthday my friend.
