Samson Jr. of the Day: 4-year-old Texan Taylor Pugh was recently suspended from pre-K (!) for having collar-length hair, violating the Mesquite ISD’s obscenely strict dress code.
From the Dallas Morning News:
“The school cannot give us an honest reason why we should force him to cut his hair. He loves his hair,” said Taylor’s father, Delton Pugh Jr., on Tuesday. “I’ll move out of this school district before I’ll force him to cut his hair.”
Taylor is currently under scholastic quarantine at the Floyd Elementary School library, where he is being tutored by a teacher’s aide.
