Four years ago I heard the message of truth, the gospel of my salvation – when I believed, I was included in Christ, marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit – guaranteeing my inheritance as God’s child! (see Eph1:13-14)
Four years ago I heard the words that turned my life upside down: Jesus, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage; rather, He made Himself nothing, taking on the appearance of a servant, being made in human likeness… [then] He humbled Himself ad became obedient to death, even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow… and every tongue confess, that Jesus is LORD, to the glory of God the Father! (Phil2:5-11)
Four years ago, God called me out of darkness into His wonderful light (1Pet2:9). Praise be to the One who rescues, the Living God! My God is a God who saves (Ps68:20), and I am forever thankful to Him, my Creator, Redeemer, Saviour and Friend!!
